Just a brief note to thank all of the reenactors who came Burton Memorial Day weekend. In spite of the heat, we had a record number of participants turn out on both the Federal and Confederate side!
A special thanks to the folks at Century Village, especial Elizabeth Wantz who, as many reenactors mentioned, "was everywhere, all the time." Hopefully she is sleeping today.
I will be working on a full After Action Report this week as soon as I catch up with email. Also, keep an eye out for a flood on email on this weekend's Hale Farm work detail and events in June.
