11:00 a.m. - Underground Railroad Quilt Program, Vodrey Chapel
1:00 p.m. - First Call to Battle for Soldiers
2:00 p.m. - Battle of Opequon Creek, VA, spectators on camp side of mill pond
7:00 p.m. Civil War Ball in the Barn
10:00 p.m. Event closes to Public
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2014
7:30-9:30 a.m. - Pancake Breakfast for re-enactors and the public
(suggested $5.00 donation) at the barn pavilion
9:00 a.m. - Federal Dress Parade, Field
10:00 a.m. - Campsites open to public
10:00 a.m. - Church Service, Vodrey Chapel
11:00 a.m. - CSA Drill and/or spectator's drill
11:00 a.m. - Underground Railroad Quilt Program, Vodrey Chapel
12:00 p.m. - First Call to Battle for soldiers
1:00 p.m. - Battle of Opequon Creek, VA , spectators on camp
side of mill pond (After the battle re-enactors will begin to pack to
return to the 21st century.)
OTHER EVENTS BOTH DAYS
* Before and after the battle the Paul Dailey one room school has the
Bug in Your Eye photographer taking pictures (for purchase) of families
and individuals in vintage style 1800?s clothing (clothing provided).
*Fife and Drum performances throughout the day.
*Pioneer Village trading post open throughout the day with souvenirs,
including limited edition Williams House/Civil War cache, snacks, and
Gaston's Mill stone ground buckwheat, whole wheat and corn meal.
Visit the John H. Morgan surrender tree in the Mill Museum.
